More hunting and Fun!

The Black Hill hunting trip was a definite success and so much fun! Donald, Barry and Barrie all shot a whitetail buck! Here are the 3 hunters with 2 of the bucks. Here is Big Barrie with his nice sized buck! Little Barry with his buck

While the men hunted us girls played and played and swam and played some more! We blew bubbles, played "I Spy", hide and seek, red light/green light, painted, colored, and laughed!!!Kaitlyn blowing some bubbles!

After, we were done hunting in Hulett, we all came back to our house and played some more! the girls loved playing the piano.

Even the big kids played! We made Christmas cards. Even the little girls made some.

Papa and his girls The last nigth they were here, we made cookies, wished on a ton of stars, watched movies and I told them bedtime stories! When wishing on stars, Kaitlyn said "I wish for a baby for you"! Oh Kaitlyn, me too!!! Me and Kayleigh! She always wanted to be with me! I love her! I love and adore both of them! It was so nice to have them here and be able to spend time with them!

I am so glad they all came up! We had such a wonderful time and we are so grateful for our families! It is hard being so far away and missing out on spending time with them! We will miss them dearly!

Donald's First Whitetail Buck and more

Donald shot his first white tail buck! He was pretty excited. We are in Hulett, WY with his parents, brother and brothers family. They found a great spot with a ton of bucks, so hopefully by tomorrow Barrie and Barry will fill their tags!

Here is Donald with his Buck!Earlier last week, Barrie was able to shoot a white tail doe, young buck and an antelope. He was so excited!

This is his 11 pointer. Hulett is 10 mintues away from Devils Tower. Barrie is doing a sign from the movie "Close Encounters" that was filmed here. Us girls are having a great time hanging out-swimming, sleeping, taking walks, playing at the park and just laughing-while the boys are hunting.

Weight Loss Competition

I have been in a weight loss competition the last 12 weeks and our last weigh in was last night. I won 2nd place for most weight loss and won overall for most inches! In 12 weeks I lost 27.75 inches! I was so excited! I was a little sad I didn't lose more weight but then when I got my measurements, I didnt' even care. I just can't even believe I lost that many inches! WAHOO!! With my winnings... I am going to buy some smaller pants! I defintetly need them. All of mine literally fall off of me! That is the best feeling!

There is going to be another weight loss competition in January if anybody wants to do it with me! Let me know if you want to participate and I will get you the info!

1 Year

Today marks my one year of when I started running! I can't believe it has been one year! This year has been amazing and I have done things that I never thought I would ever do! I have run 2 half marathons, lost 30 lbs and am still going strong! I love running! I have always been pretty athletic but the past 8 years I pretty much quite doing anything. Well, one year ago, I hit rock bottom. I just felt I needed to get into shape and take care of my body a little better. My main goal was to get pregnant but even though that has not happened, I am still happy I decided to get off the couch and do something! I have changed most of my eating habits, I love to exercise, and it is so fun fitting in to smaller clothes! And I actually don't mind pictures of me anymore. I have many goals and dreams that I want to accomplish still and am excited for the challenges of them!

Goals for 2010:

Lose 30 more lbs

Run the Big Horn Trail Run-30k-18 miles

Complete a mini triathalon

Run Disneyland's Half Marathon with my sister

And get pregnant! That will always be one of my goals.

Thank you to everybody who has been there cheering me on through it all! My hubby-for supporting me in every crazy idea I have and do! My mom, sister and brother for always giving me encouragement!! Liz-for starting me on the couch to 5k! Lissa-for being my running partner/workout partner/food nazi. And to many others who send me emails, texts, and messages of encouragement! Without all of you... I could not have done it!

Today I ran a 5k with my good friends Lissa and Katrina! My goal was to be under 33 minutes and I came in at 31:43! So I was pretty happy with the time but not so happy about the way I felt. I started off too fast and never was able to recover. For about 1/2 mile it was uphill and that made my breathing hard and my heart rate was way up but I just kept running and finished under my goal and ran the whole thing! Katrina....well she kicked butt! It was her first and she ran it pretty easy! And Lissa... well she kicked my butt too! I don't know what happens on race day but I just can't seem to run as good. Next time... hopefully I will be able to be up with Lissa and race her to the end! ANyways... it was still a fun race. They had over 500 people partcipate and raised money for a new mammogram machine for the hospital!

After the 5k, we went to see Lela at teh cross country state meet. She did awesome... 2nd in the state! I only dream I could run a 5k that fast!

Now, I am baking cookies for the kids after the primary program, scrapbooking 33 pages for my exchange this week and cleaning house to get ready for my mother and father-in-law coming on tuesday. I will be so glad when tomorrow is over. And excited to see family!
