I am definetly counting my blessings ! I have had some friends and family go through some really tough things lately and it sure has made me step back and remember that my life has been pretty easy lately compared to a few of them!
My first friend, Katie from College, has been going through a lot this past year with her son. Please read some of her story here on my friend, Ashley's blog. Ashley has been so giving and donated much to Katie's family! I hope through Ashley's blog, that much more will be donated to help out Dylan's leg fund! Katie's strength has been such a testimony builder to me and I am so thankful to have her as my friend! She is one amazing mom to her boys and has really done her research and praying to know what is best for him! Dylan is very blessed to have been sent to the Fish family!
Then, I was able to participate in a 5k for one a high school friend, Katie, to raise money for her family! Her baby had been pretty sick and in the hospital for 1.5 weeks and then a day or 2 after, her husband had a heart attack and was dead for more than 30 mins! He recovered suprisingly well. Heavenly Father was definetly watching over them!
Here are some of the runners. Of course the only day it has snowed this year, was the day of the race. But it was still fun!

This is Katie's mom. I hadn't seen her in years,so it was fun to see her and catch up! 
Katie's dad and BIL(?) racing to the finish. Her dad was in the stake presidency my whole childhood and so it was so nice to see him! What a good family they are!

After the race,I stopped by to see Katie and her family. She is an amazing person and has amazing strength and faith to be able to get through these trials!
The Lord has been watching over these 2 friends of mine. Through much prayers and fasting, they have been taken care! I am thankful to have been able to be a part of helping them and sending extra prayers their way!
